NH with Carlstroms

This past weekend we went to NH to see the Carlstroms. We had a blast! The kids loved playing together and there was so much space to run around. There were water games, water ring rolling games, eating, fishing....shopping! You name it we did it all! The Carlstroms have a beautiful house and we are so thankful that we got an opportunity to spend time with them there.

I beleive Alex called Ava his girlfriend and the next morning Ava leaned over to Nolan and said, 'I love you.' Hmmm...Ava even took a 2 hours nap with Alex! Holy Moly!! We have to thank Camille for that one. THANK YOU!

PopTarts and Yoga

Can you eat a pop tart like that?! These are some fun shots that we have taken over the pat few weeks. I just never really get a chance to upload them. There are tons of stories to share as well...but i am blank. Though, I can say Ava is really doing a good job swimming on her own. She goes under and swims with her head half out of the water. She really enjoys testing me by walking chest deep at all times. This is hard to manage with Clara sitting on the edge of the water. Thank god for friends and extra hands.

Clara also seems to be doing much better now that she isnt sick. Her appetite is back and her willfulness as well. Two willful daughters....great! ;)

Avas First Haircut

It was 90 degrees on Friday morning as I was watching Ava splash around at the Reservoir in Arlington while Clara played at my feet with shovels and buckets. As Ava was walking through the water she passed a little girl, maybe 2ish, that had the cutest little bob. It was high and tight. Ava could do this with her wispy air. I went over to her mom and asked her where she got her daughters haircut. Her response was, 'Arlington Hair Salon for Men' on Broadway. I was so there......tomorrow I said to myself. As I went back to my friends I told them where I was going , like I was in on the secret. Turns out Both Kari (Wils mom) and Natasha ( Liam&Lukes mom) take their kids there. DUH.

I took many shots of the moment. Ava wax GREAT and so excited. Natasha, Liam & Luke walked in just as the bib was snapped off. So we hung out, watched them get haircuts and all shared a lollipop on the stoop afterwards.

DeCordova

Yesterday Amy took the girls to the DeCordova Museum in Lincoln. Apparently they had a blast and were very upset to leave. Amy sent me this picture of them playing the an enormous xylophone.

Good Harbor Beach

Last week my aunt Christy was up visiting from NYC. I took a vacation day and headed north with the girls to Gloucester. We had lunch at Grandpa Petes, got our beach sticker at City hall then hit the beach! It was cold. it was jacket weather. Lots of clouds and wind with peaks of sun here and there. As you know most kids dont care and will don their suits and swim anyway. Our kids are no different. Luckily I had my trusty phone to take some photos of them enjoying the beach, which they pretty much had to themselves.

Our visit with the family was fun and I know the girls enjoyed seeing Auntie Chris very much. Maybe for their presents more than anything! heheheh!!

Princess Party

Ava attended a princess party for Miss Allie to help raise money for juvenile diabetes. Ava had a blast and was reveling in being pampered. She was soooooo into it. Especially the /makeup' part. Its amazing how much of a girl she is....bewildering.
